Bundt Pan Nachos (Print Version)

Layers of crispy chips, seasoned beef, and melted cheese baked in a Bundt pan for impressive presentation

# What You'll Need:

→ Meat & Beans

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
03 - 1 packet taco seasoning
04 - 1/3 cup water

→ Chips & Cheese

05 - 8 cups tortilla chips
06 - 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
07 - 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

→ Vegetables & Toppings

08 - 1 cup diced tomatoes
09 - 1/2 cup sliced black olives
10 - 1/2 cup sliced green onions
11 - 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
12 - 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
13 - 1/2 cup sour cream
14 - 1/2 cup salsa
15 - 1 avocado, diced

# How to Cook:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a Bundt pan thoroughly with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking apart with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
03 - Sprinkle taco seasoning packet over the cooked beef. Add water and stir to combine evenly. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens. Stir in drained black beans and remove from heat.
04 - Spread one-third of the tortilla chips evenly across the bottom of the prepared Bundt pan. Distribute one-third of the beef-bean mixture over the chips. Sprinkle with one-third of the Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
05 - Repeat the layering process two more times: chips, beef mixture, and both cheeses. Ensure the final layer is topped with cheese for a golden, bubbly finish.
06 - Place the Bundt pan in the center of the oven. Bake for 15-18 minutes until cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
07 - Remove from oven and let cool for 3-5 minutes to set. Carefully invert the Bundt pan onto a large serving platter to release the nacho ring.
08 - Scatter diced tomatoes, black olives, green onions, jalapeño slices, and cilantro over the top. Add dollops of sour cream and salsa. Distribute diced avocado around the base.
09 - Serve while warm and cheese is melted. Guests can pull portions from the ring for easy sharing.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The presentation alone makes you look like a party planning genius without any fancy restaurant skills
  • Every single chip gets perfectly coated in cheese and toppings instead of the sad bare chips you find in ordinary nachos
02 -
  • I once forgot to grease the center tube properly and lost half my beautiful chip ring during the flip, so do not skip that step
  • The pan needs those few minutes of resting time or the structure will collapse when you invert it, however tempting it might be to dive in immediately
03 -
  • Use a knife to gently loosen the edges from the pan before inverting, especially around that tricky center tube
  • If some chips stubbornly refuse to release, just rearrange them on the platter and nobody will be the wiser
