Grilled Cheese Sandwich (Print Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 4 slices sandwich bread (white, sourdough, or whole grain)

→ Cheese

02 - 4 slices cheddar cheese (or preferred melting cheese)

→ Spread

03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

# How to Cook:

01 - Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place two bread slices buttered side down. Layer two cheese slices on each. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
03 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat until hot.
04 - Add sandwiches to the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
05 - Remove from pan and let rest for 1 minute. Cut in halves or quarters. Serve immediately.
